Timing a trend push around a product launch

Why the two hours before your announcement matter more than the two hours after.

Most brands schedule their trend push for "launch time." By then the window is already half closed.

Warm up before you go live

We start seeding conversation 60โ€“90 minutes before an announcement with teaser posts, countdowns and creator questions. When the announcement lands, the hashtag already has a baseline to accelerate from โ€” which is what the algorithm rewards.

Hold the peak, then hand over

The first hour after launch is about holding rank. After that, organic conversation should take over. If it doesn't, more volume rarely fixes it โ€” the message usually needs work.

Plan the push around your audience's day, not your team's calendar.

A simple rule: if your launch is at 11:00, the campaign brief should be final by 09:00 and the push should start by 09:45.
